Taster sessions
South Bristol Sports Centre are just about to launch a range of new and accessible lunch time, early morning and after work/school classes.
Perfect for the busy professional or working mum, who struggles to fit exercise into a daily routine.
The week beginning the 22nd of March we are launching these classes with free taster sessions; participants can come along and have a go at the first classes free of charge.
Usual price is £3.50 or £4.00 (45 minutes or an hour).

Fit4Life
A new and exciting aerobics class that invites you to come along for fitness and fun.
Monday 1.00 – 1.45 pm - £3.50
Tuesday 6.00 – 7.00 - £4.00
Friday 10 – 11am - £4.00
Fit4Life is a high intensity aerobics based class that is designed to be energetic and fun. It is primarily Cardio based but also a very good class for toning as it uses shaping and toning exercises such as ab exercises, squats and lunges.

Bums & Tums
A fun filled full body workout for mums and others who wish to get in shape and loose that weight on a Monday evening between 6-7pm. Tara (our fitness instructor) will deliver an exciting class that incorporates many exercise techniques from yoga, pilates to fitness balls etc. You will need to reserve your place as space is limited. Pilates with Claire N
Pilates is a low impact exercise class suitable for almost everyone. It’s an excellent way to lengthen and strengthen muscles without adding bulk, a great way to prevent and rehabilitate injury, corrects many postural problems, helps re gain abdominal and back strength and can alleviate stress. Claire is qualified Stott Pilates instructor with over 10 years teaching experience in the health and fitness industry. Courses must be booked in advance and run on a Tuesday night beginners 7.00pm – 8.00pm and intermediate 8.00pm – 9.00pm and beginners 8.00pm - 9.00pm - Wednesday evenings. Kick-boxing
The training we do within the classes is excellent for all-round fitness and body conditioning. We begin with circuit training consisting of running, press-ups, sit-ups, squat-thrusts and many other exercises to condition your body and get you into shape.
The self-defence is applied within the traditional kick boxing system. With 50+ years of experience from the two head instructors, we can offer you hands-on tuition from a top martial artist.
The club and some of its members are well-known around the country and also worldwide for their fighting skills and achievements. There are special fitness classes available for those who wish to train that much harder once every month, but we point out that beginners are advised to take it easy on their first three sessions. We also have one-day seminars on street-fighting defence techniques taught by the country's top instructors. Circuit training
Circuit class on a Wednesday evening between 7-8pm. This new and exciting multi station class will help you develop all basic fitness elements and core stability. The class comprises of two circuits, firstly a whole body work out, secondly a core stability and torso work out. All abilities welcome as you can work at an intensity that suits you.
