Fire Update

At approximately midday on Saturday 12th May 2018, a severe fire took place at South Bristol Sports Centre which severely damaged the building.  Everyone got out safely thankfully and we would like to express our sincere gratitude to the emergency services who were fantastic.

The Centre will be closed for the foreseeable future whilst we wait the results of the investigations, but we will naturally keep you updated as and when we know more so please keep an eye on this website and on social media.  Whilst the building from reception through to the squash courts area has been destroyed, the rest of the pavilion was saved although severely damaged by smoke and flooding which will take considerable time to repair and restore. Although not confirmed, the likely source of the fire seems to have originated from the sauna area.

We would like to thank all of the community for your continued support and messages we have received over the last few days, we assure you all that we will recover from this and come back stronger.
